Hi! I'm Kate, and I'm passionate about bringing people together through delicious, homemade chocolate chip cookies!

Baking has always been my passion. My grandpa was my biggest inspiration. In his culinary career he starrted at the bottom and worked his way up to become the executive chef at Hotel Fort Des Moines. He had the honor of creating meals for numerous presidents and actors. He even had a knack for ice carvings that would be the center piece of those meals.

During my junior year of high school I enrolled in culinary school and received my culinary degree at Iowa Culinary Institute. After working in the culinary field I became a stay at home mom. I was craving getting back into the industry so I opened a wholesale cookie business from our home.

After that we decided to take a leap of faith and open the Cookie Wagon!

What started as a love for baking in my own kitchen has grown into Kate's Kookie Wagon - a business dedicated to creating memorable moments for families, organizations, and communities.
